This website is owned and operated by Wellbrook Winery and Bremner Foods Ltd. At Wellbrook we recognize that many visitors to our site are concerned about the information they provide to us, and how we treat that information. We have developed a Privacy Policy based on guidelines from the Council of Better Business Bureaus and our own beliefs about what is right in this sensitive area. We may update the Policy from time to time, so please check in occasionally.

Our Policy

At our site, we do not collect personally-identifiable information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. We do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. You will, however, be asked to register in order to make purchases through our online wine store. The information collected in the wine store section of the web site is exclusively for the purposes of filling your order.

If you register in order to use the "eNews" feature of our site, we use the information you supply for the purpose of providing the services you have requested. You can always change your preference for follow-up contacts just by using the "eNews Unsubscribe" function at any time.

If we conduct a survey on the site, we may put together information about our users in a way that people's identities are not revealed and use the information internally to make decisions that would improve our service or product offerings. For example, we may discover that based on a website poll, 78% of our customers who live in British Columbia are interested in purchasing wine and juice products on line, and based on this information we will provide that service. We do not, however, share information that might identify you personally with anyone outside of Wellbrook Winery and Bremner Foods Ltd., including our partners and retailers.

In the "Contact Us" section of our site, we ask for some personally identifiable information, such as your name, address and phone number. We use this information only if we need to contact you directly because our attempts to contact you by e-mail were unsuccessful. We do not use the information internally for other purposes and we do not share the information with anyone outside of Wellbrook Winery and Bremner Foods Ltd. We do not use your e-mail address for any purpose other than responding to the message you've sent or e-mail communication you have agreed to receive.

Occasionally, our website may include notices of promotions or contests we are conducting, which you are invited to enter electronically. Any information provided in these instances will only be used for the purpose of the promotion (i.e. to contact you if you are a contest winner.) The information you provide during these promotions is not shared with anyone outside of Wellbrook Winery and Bremner Foods Ltd.

Like most companies, we use "cookie" technology on our web site. When you log on to wellbrookwinery.com the cookie tells us whether you are a new or previous visitor to our site. The cookie does not track any personal information about you or provide us with any way to contact you, nor does the cookie extract any information from your computer.
