Archery at the Winery Special Event
Saturday June 27th, 2009 at 12-5pm!
The Vancouver Archery group will be participating in a rather unique opportunity to practice their archery skills in the great outdoors at Wellbrook Winery in Delta. Come on out for an hour or two or more and enjoy the day. The Archery group will be practicing, competing, and even having mini-tournaments. This will be a great day of fun and good sportsmanship (and, of course, good sportsgirlship)!

Fraser Valley Wineries Association Special Event
You are invited to the Fraser Valley Wineries Association's 2nd Annual Wine & Culinary Extravaganza.
The wineries of the Fraser Valley are pairing up with the hottest local restaurants and food artisans for a spectacular afternoon of food, wine and live entertainment. With great local wines, food and farm-fresh ingredients, the FVWA Wine & Culinary Extravaganza is your opportunity to celebrate farm life in the Fraser Valley.
Date: Saturday, June 27th, 2009
Time: 2pm to 5pm
This is an outdoor tented event, hosted by the Highpoint Equestrian Estate Community
(200 Street at 8th Ave, Langley, near Campbell Valley Regional Park).
Tickets are $50 per person plus tax (you must be 19 years or older to attend) and can be purchased online at www.fvwa.ca or by calling 1-800-663-1900. Partial proceeds raised from this event will go to Langley's Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities, an organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities.

Fresh Blueberries!
Summer has finally arrived at Wellbrook!
The "Duke" variety of blueberries will be ready starting mid-late July. This variety produces medium to large-sized berries with a delicate flavour. They are quite firm, and retain a fresh quality longer than most blueberry varieties.
Please phone the Winery (604-946-1868) to place your order at least 24 hours in advance. The price is $2.50/lb with a 10 lb. minimum. Blueberries are expected to be available until mid-September.

Cooking Class Schedule - Fall 2009 coming soon!
We are pleased to announce our cooking class schedule for Fall 2009 will be available soon. Classes are held at our heritage winery store in Ladner BC. If you are interested in a class, reserve your spot early as our classes are limited to 16 people and they fill up fast!
