Wellbrook Winery is proud to host Opera Appassionata Presenting “L’amico Fritz”

Performances held in Wellbrook Winery’s old barn will transport the audience to the time and place of the opera’s setting.  A unique experience not to be missed.

Wining and Dining at Wellbrook Winery

~ Chef Ross Allen had to cancel his May class as he is gong to Italy for 2-½ weeks.  His class has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 6th.  He will be presenting a "Feast of Italy", instead of the Mexican dinner we had planned.

 

~ Chef Don Gyurkovits of The Butler Did It Catering & Restaurant will present the Mexican Fiesta Dinner, Tuesday, May 22nd.  Don’s restaurant received an excellent review by the food editor of the Vancouver Sun Wednesday March 7, 2006. Our evaluation forms had many requests for a Mexican dinner, so register early as classes fill up quickly!

~ Don't miss Chef Karen Barnaby, Wednesday June 20, 2007

Karen Barnaby has been a culinary leader for over 20 years. As executive chef at Vancouver's internationally renowned Fish House in Stanley Park, she emphasizes seasonal, organic ingredients and uncomplicated techniques. Her cookbooks, "Pacific Passions", "Screamingly Good Food", and "The Girls Who Dish", showcase her playful, innovative approach to food. Karen is currently a regular contributor to the Vancouver Sun food column. She is an entertaining and wonderful teacher. This class is not to be missed!

~ Chef Adrian Beatty from Seasonal Experience Restaurant in Langley has announced his menu for the Monday, April 16, 2007 Class:

The Menu:
- Assortment of breads with bread dipper and tapenades.
- Confit of Polderside Farms duck salad, Agassiz Farm House Castle blue cheese, wheat berries, organic beets, and walnut sherry vinaigrette
- Roasted sloping hills farms Bershire Pork Loin with Maple Cranberry reduction
- Pear chutney
- Brown Butter Sunchoke Puree
- White chocolate cups filled with white chocolate and Fortified Blueberry Wine Ganache with Blueberry Compote
